About

My husband thinks that 20 shades of blush lipgloss is more than enough, yet I somehow always manage to find a little extra room in my purse. And makeup bag. And glove box.

I love the old-fashioned romance of drive-in movie dates. A packed picnic dinner snacked on under a blanket on the hood of the car while counting shooting stars is my idea of perfection. It also describes my first date with my husband. : )

In the movie Sabrina, Audrey Hepburn learns how to crack an egg in one hand. Since seeing this, I decided it was a skill every lady should master and I’ve been perfecting the art ever since.

I believe love should be like a sparkling moscato. Bubbly, playful and sweet.

I’m not at all embarrassed to admit that I much prefer spending Friday nights at home than out shaking my booty at a club downtown. Being snuggled on the couch with my hubby, a good movie & Thai take-out fills my heart.

If it were up to me, cake and cookies would be considered official breakfast foods. If we go out for breakfast, I may just order a hot fudge sundae.

On Valentines Day I never get red roses. My husband brings me vases filled with colorful poppies, blooming peonies and delicate ranunculus. He definitely knows the way to my heart.

One day, when I’m in my dream farm home, I’ll plant rows and rows of lavender bushes in my backyard. I’ll  leave the windows open all summer long and let the breeze carry the soft scent across the house.

Forehead and nose kisses are the best kind of kisses.

I wear makeup to yoga class and while camping for no other reason than I think primping is fun. Oh, and because I can.
